dc.description.abstract A simple in design and handy in operation instrument for determination of liquids densities is described. The instrument is based on the magnetic float method and is intended for measuring in the temperature range of 20-100°C at the atmospheric pressure with the errors less than 0.005%. A calibration way by means of small loads is proposed. Coincidence is obtained of experimental data on the decene-1 density, measured by the magnetic float method and standard method of pycnometer, in the limits of 0.01%.
