dc.description.abstract A mathematical model of weightless pollution transport from a high-altitude point source is suggested. The model takes into account the relationship between an effective height of the source and a characteristic scale of the atmospheric boundary layer. A solution of the problem on maximum surface pollution concentration is presented. For sources located in the lower boundary layer it turns into the well-known Berlyand solution.
