dc.description.abstract There are reviewed the researches on genetic architecture of temperament. Progress in genetics and breakthrough based on human genome decoding offer great opportunities to create scientific classification of personal traits. Genetic criteria used to distinguish personal traits permit to describe personality structure not only on observational basis but referred to biological mechanisms. It is proposed that future model of personality will consider achievements in molecular genetics, neurobiology and theory of evolution. Among all personal aspects temperament became the subject of genetic researches.
