dc.description.abstract | A new test subject identified as Euplotes patella has been distinguished from active sludge to develop the biotesting grounds. An analysis of the test subject sensitivity has shown that Euplotes patella was more sensitive to heavy metals (e.g. CuSO 4·5H 2O). The inverse relation has been found when biotesting real waste water of petroleum production. It was proved expedient to compare toxicological estimates obtained using the both test subjects for more objective and valid information on waste water toxicity. | |
