dc.description.abstract | The selectivity and dissolving ability of the morpholine (Mp) based solvent blends are studied by C 6 hydrocarbon extraction. Morpholine blends with acetonitrile (AN) and dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) is tested. The individual and mixed benzene (Bz), cyclohexane (CHex), and hexane (Hex) are extracted. The concentration dependence of activity coefficients for Bz, Hex, and CHex in individual and blended Mp, AN, DMSO is analyzed. The effect is maximum for the blend of 50% Mp and AN contents. The increase of AN content from 0 to 40 mol % sharply decreases the dissoluting ability with the selectivity retained. | |
