It has been found that the selective bacterial absorption of exometabolites produced by aquatic plants provides the basis for the symbiotic interaction of higher aquatic plants with the accompanying hydrocarbon-oxidizing microflora. The exogenous substances governing the acceleration or inhibition of the process of oil biodegradation have been identified. |
