dc.description.abstract	On the basis of the Ruderman-Kittel-Bloembergen indirect type of interactions, the indirect interaction of nuclei through the excited states of the electrons in the valence band is considered for the case in which the distance between the energy bands is not large, as assumed in [1]. The operators of the isotropic and nonisotropic parts of the exchange interaction are obtained. © 1974 Consultants Bureau.
