dc.description.abstract | 1. The potentiometric titration method was used to determine the ionization constants of some spiro- and monocyclophosphoranes, which contain the P-H bond, in absolute n-propanol. 2. A study of the reaction rate of these phosphoranes with diphenyldiazomethane disclosed that their reactivity increases with increase in the acidity. In this connection the proton of the P-H fragment is more labile in the spirocyclic than in the monocyclic phosphoranes. © 1977 Plenum Publishing Corporation. | |
