1. Triphenylphosphite reacts with phenylbenzoyldiimide and the dimethyl ester of azodicarboxylic acid to form 2,2,2-triphenoxy-3,5-diphenyl-1oxa-2-phospha-3,4-diazacyclopentene-4 and 2,2,2-triphenoxy-3-carbomethoxy-5-methoxy-1-oxa-2-phospha-3,4-diazacyclopentene-4 respectively. 2. The structure of the phosphoranes obtained was determined by NMR and IR spectra, using the isotope P31. © 1967 Consultants Bureau. |
