dc.description.abstract |
1. A number of derivatives of phosphorus acids and 2-chloro-2-propen-l-ol were prepared, and some of their chemical and biological properties were studied. 2. The 2-chloroallyl phosphorus derivatives synthesized are contact insecticides of low activity. 3. Fungicidal active with respect to Trichophyton gypseum and Epidermophyton increases with lengthening of the hydrocarbon chains of the alcohol residues of the phosphorus esters, whereas toxieity with respect to warm-blooded animals diminishes considerably. 4. The compounds studied have moderate activity with respect to Mycobacterium tuberculosis hominis. © 1968 Consultants Bureau. |
