dc.description.abstract An analyzer is described for operational monitoring of the power distribution provided by an IR laser. The distribution is displayed as 16 isozones on a light-emitting diode matrix. The device enables one to measure the total power and also the power in any isozone simultaneously. The time required to interrogate all zones is 100 msec, while the maximum flux density is about 1 kW/cm**2.
