In the present work we performed a comparison of structural and electronic properties of two heterostructures based on transition metal oxides containing strongly correlated electrons: LaAlO3/SrTiO3 (LAO/STO), LaAlO3/BaTiO3 (LAO/BTO) and BaTiO3/SrTiO3 (BTO/STO). We have shown the role of structural relaxation in the two-dimensional conductivity formation at the interface between two dielectrics. We have analyzed the contribution to the conductivity from different orbitals and atoms as well as the correlation between structural distortions arising due to dipole moment creation along the LAO layer and conductivity.
