dc.description.abstract © 2019 IEEE. The carried out study is a solution to the optimization problem of determining the conditions, under which maximization of capacity for radio engineering data transmission system can be achieved by changing the transfer function of linear selective systems and signal constellation configuration. We consider a class of radio engineering data transmission systems with APSK-N signals built on the basis of the Theory of resolution time. The solution is achieved by numerical method of capacity estimation, developed earlier by authors of this study. The obtained results are accurate due to the calculated solutions are made for the most frequently used transfer function and the subsequent generalization of the obtained results. Due to the obtained results, optimization criteria for the considered class of radio engineering data transmission systems are formulated.
