dc.description.abstract © 2018 Elsevier B.V. Reactions of Sb2O3 dissolved in HBr/Br2 and bromides of pyridinium-derived cations result in mononuclear complexes of Sb(V) – (cation)[SbBr6] (cation = 2-chloropyridinium (1), 2-bromopyridinium (2)). Thermal behaviour of 1 and 2, as well as similar previously reported complexes Et4N [SbBr6] (3) and (N-EtPy)[SbBr6] (4), was studied and discussed.
